Lace Garden

Lace Garden is located right in the middle of the busy Rustampura Main Road. We have space in Kashi Plaza, using S. No. 7 on the ground floor and then more room from S. No. 9-15 on the first floor. Being right opposite the Post Office means there is a constant stream of people and vehicles outside our door. It is a very loud and active part of Surat. The shop is usually packed with rolls of lace and different types of decorative trims. It can look a bit cluttered when we are busy with several customers at once, but we know where every single item is kept. We spend a lot of time helping people find the exact color or pattern they need for their sewing projects. The ground floor is for quick sales, while the first floor is where we keep the bulk of the stock. The stairs are quite narrow and we are always running up and down them all day long. The traffic outside is typical for this area, with lots of rickshaws and bikes honking their horns. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and start our work. It feels like a family business here, and many of our customers have been coming to us for years. We just keep the shelves filled and handle the daily rush as it comes. It's a busy life but we enjoy it.
