Kitra Industries

If you look for us at 7/1522 on Dr. Ambedkar Road, you’ll find us right near the pumping station in Variavi Bazar. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve been operating Kitra Industries from this location for quite some time. The building isn't much to look at from the street, but it’s spacious enough for all the equipment we use. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough, especially with the machines running, but we have some fans that help a bit. Most of the guys here live nearby, so they just walk or bike in. We handle a lot of different industrial tasks throughout the week. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different things happen at once, but we manage to sort it out. The road outside is always crowded with people heading to the market, so getting trucks in and out takes some patience. We keep our tools organized on the back wall, or at least we try to. Our office area is just a small space with a couple of chairs and a filing cabinet that has seen better days. It feels like a real workplace because it is one. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or paint. We just show up, do the work, and keep the machines maintained so tomorrow goes smoothly.
