Down in Silvassa, specifically in Village-Khutali, is where we do our daily work. You will find Hind Aluminium Industries Ltd. at Sr. No. 1/2 on Doodhani Road. It is a bit of a trek out toward Khanvel, but this is where we have the space for what we do. We work with aluminium, plain and simple. It is a busy site with a lot of movement from morning until night. Trucks come in with raw materials and leave with the finished goods. We deal with various forms of the metal, and there is usually a lot of heat and noise involved in the whole process. The guys on the floor really know their way around the equipment. This is not a quiet office job; it is industrial work through and through. We have been part of the landscape here for a good while. The weather in Silvassa can be something else, but the work does not stop for it. People around here know us as the aluminium place on the way out to Doodhani. We do not spend much time on fancy letters or big meetings. Most of the day is spent checking the output and making sure the loading is done correctly. It is about getting the metal ready for whatever it is going to be used for next. We keep things moving and try to keep the machines running as smooth as we can. It takes a lot of coordination between the different sections of the plant to make sure everything stays on track.
