Cosmopack

The shop here at Plot No. 101/2 in the Rakholi Ind. Estate stays pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. If you ever come down to the village area to find us, you will see a lot of trucks moving in and out of the estate. Cosmopack is basically just a big hall filled with packing materials and the machines that make them. It gets pretty humid inside during the summer months, but we have a couple of big fans that help a bit. The workers usually have their lunch under the tree outside because it is cooler there. We spend most of our time looking at sheets of plastic and cardboard. There is always a pile of scrap that needs to be cleared away at the end of the shift. Someone forgot to oil the main roller last week, so it was squeaking for three days straight until we finally sorted it. That is just how it goes here. It is not some high-tech lab; it is a place where we get things boxed up and ready to go out. The floor is concrete and stained from years of work. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It is a quiet village life mostly, except for the noise of the factory. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a simple gate and a small office for the paperwork.
