You can find us at P-159 in the Old GIDC area of Katargam, Surat. It is a busy spot, tucked away among many other industrial units that have been here for decades. The space itself is practical and does not have much in the way of decoration. We focus on the daily tasks at hand. Dineshchandra started this quite some time ago, and we have kept the same pace ever since. The morning starts with the sound of the metal shutters being rolled up, which echoes a bit in the quiet street before the rest of the neighborhood wakes up. Katargam is known for this kind of work, and we are right in the middle of it. The floor is made of concrete and has some stains from years of activity, but it holds up well. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. Most of our visitors are people we have known for years, so it feels more like a community than just a business zone. We deal with the heat in the summer by keeping the fans going at full speed, though it still gets quite warm inside. There is a lot of history in these walls, even if it is just an old industrial plot. We don't use any high-tech systems for our daily logs; mostly just notebooks and pens. It is a very hands-on way of doing things, and it works for us here in this part of Surat.
