This office is in the Sukhdev Building, right on Vastadevdi Road in Katargam. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Torrent Power building, so that’s how most people find us. It is always loud outside with the Surat traffic and people shouting. We are up on the 402nd spot, so there are a few flights of stairs to deal with every morning. The room is quite simple with a couple of chairs and a desk where most of the work happens. It’s usually Darshan here handling the daily tasks and talking to whoever drops by. Katargam is a busy area for all kinds of trade, so there is always movement in the hallway. We don’t have any big decorations on the walls, just the essentials for the business. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. The windows look out over the road, and you can see the tea stalls getting crowded in the evening. It’s a small operation, nothing corporate or overly managed. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It gets dusty because of the construction nearby, so we have to wipe the table down every morning. It’s a basic setup that serves the purpose for what we need to do here in Surat. There is always someone coming or going in this building, and we just fit right into the mix.
