Our spot is at 501 in the New Textile Market. If you ever spend time on Ring Road, you know exactly how crowded and loud it gets around here. We are located on the upper ground floor, which really helps when we need to move rolls of fabric in and out without fighting the elevators. It’s always noisy outside, and there is usually a truck backing up or someone shouting about a delivery. We deal with textiles because that is what this whole building is about. Our office is a bit cramped because we have samples and bolts of cloth piled up in almost every corner. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners and the guy who brings the tea around. Some days are incredibly slow, and then other times we can barely keep up with the work coming in. We do not have a fancy website or a big, polished reception area for guests. It’s just a group of us, some old desks, and a lot of material to sort through. Dealing with the market life means you have to be ready for things to change quickly. Prices go up and down, and suppliers might change their minds at the last minute. We just roll with it. It isn't a glamorous business, but it is our livelihood. We work hard, go home, and come back to do it all over again the next day.
