Kala Sagar

Kala Sagar is tucked away in the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road. We are in units M-2685-86. If you have ever been to this market, you know it is a massive and confusing place. There are people everywhere moving rolls of fabric and the sound of trucks is constant. We have been in this location for several years. Our shop is mostly filled with different types of cloth and traditional patterns that we keep stacked up to the ceiling. It is a bit dusty and the air always feels heavy with the smell of new fabric. We do not have a website or any social media pages. People usually find us by walking through the market or because they have been buying from us for a long time. My brother and I run the shop and we have two younger guys who help us with the heavy lifting and moving the bundles. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep our energy up. The market is very hot in the summer and the noise never really stops until late at night. We know most of the other traders around our unit and we often help each other out with change or carrying things. It is a tough way to make a living but we are used to the rhythm of the market by now. We just focus on our stock and making sure we have what people are looking for.
