Bhavani Creation is tucked away in the Laxmi Tiles Compound, specifically units 25 and 26. If you know Kabirwadi near Umiya Chowk, you've probably passed us plenty of times without even realizing it. A. K. Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic, so we suggest coming early in the morning if you can. We mostly focus on clothes and fabrics, specifically the stuff people wear every day. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. My cousin handles the inventory and I usually talk to the folks walking in. The space isn't huge, but we make use of every inch we have. Sometimes we have stacks of fabric almost reaching the ceiling and it gets hard to move around. It gets warm in the afternoons, so the fan is always on full blast. We’ve been in this compound for years. Most of our neighbors are also in the trade, so we swap stories over tea during the breaks. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. We have some racks and some wooden benches where people can sit while they look at samples. We don’t do big ads or anything like that. Most people find us because their friend told them we have what they need. We try to keep things simple. If a piece isn't right, we just say so. We aren't interested in selling something that won't last. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sundays we finally get some rest.
