Our office is based in the Unity Building over on Jaya Chamarajendra Road. It is a well-known spot, especially being so close to Varachha Road. We have been operating out of this same space for quite a long time now. It isn't a massive office, but it’s got just enough room for the desks and all the records we have to keep on hand. The building usually has a lot of people coming and going throughout the week. Being at number 11 puts us right in the middle of all that activity. We spend most of our mornings opening the mail and getting a head start on whatever tasks came in the day before. There is always some paperwork that needs to be sorted through. We aren't the type to have a lot of expensive decorations. Most of our wall space is taken up by calendars and notes we have pinned there to remind us of deadlines. It is a working office in every sense. People often just drop in while they are out doing their other chores. We have a group of regulars who come in to check on their files or just to have a quick chat. The traffic outside on Varachha Road can be pretty loud during the busy hours, but we have gotten used to it after all these years. It’s just part of working in this neighborhood. We keep our heads down and get through the work that needs doing. If the door is open, someone is inside.
