Jr, Engineer

I’m Sangamesh and I work as an engineer out of room 208 in the Nathiba Flats. Our place is in the Umragam area, specifically in Ichjnath, Surat. We are right across from the SVNIT campus, so there are always students around and the area is quite lively. The office is just a simple room where I handle all the engineering designs and calculations. It’s not a big company with many departments. It’s just me and a small amount of space for my computer and drawing board. Surat is a city that never seems to stop, and there is always some kind of construction or repair work happening. I spend my time working on the technical side of these projects, making sure the plans are solid and the measurements are correct. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but it’s a good spot to be in because it's so central. I don't have a receptionist or any fancy office perks. I just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes I have to go out to the sites to see how things are going, but most of the heavy lifting happens right here at my desk. It’s a straightforward life. I try to be precise with my work because that’s what engineering is all about. I’ve been in this flat for a while now and it suits my needs perfectly.
