We are located at No. 1027-28 in the Shiv Shakti Market on Ring Road. It’s right in the middle of the New Textile Market, which is always packed with people buying and selling fabric. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack it full of whatever we are trading that week. It’s usually quite a rush in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We spend a lot of time folding and checking the quality of the materials. Ring Road is famous for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops. We have been in this specific spot for a few years now. The lights inside are a bit bright, but you need that to see the colors clearly. Sometimes the hallways of the market get blocked with bundles of cloth, so you have to step over them to get to our door. We don't really do much advertising; most of our visitors are people who walk by or have known us for a long time. It’s a family business, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The market closes late, and by then, we are usually pretty tired but ready to do it again tomorrow. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps us busy and the market atmosphere is always lively. We just focus on the fabrics and the people.
