My workplace is located in units 307 and 308 of Green Plaza. This is on the Honey Park Main Road over in Adajan, Surat. Being near L P Savani School means the area is usually humming with activity. I spend most of my days here in these two rooms. It's not a massive corporate office, just a couple of connected spaces where I get things done. The sunlight hits the front windows in the morning, so I usually keep the curtains half-drawn. There are a lot of files and books stacked up on the shelves. It’s a bit of a lived-in look, to be honest. I don't really have a receptionist, so if the door is shut, I'm probably just busy with someone. People know to just knock. The hallway in Green Plaza is usually busy with people going to the other offices. I’ve grown used to the sounds of the school bells and the traffic outside. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so I end up taking the stairs. It keeps me moving. I started out with just one room, but eventually, I needed more space, so I took the one next door too. It's a simple arrangement that works for my needs. Most people who come by are from the local neighborhood. It's a convenient spot for them and for me as well. I've been at it for a few years now in this building.
