Leesons Fabric

Leesons Fabric is located at Shop No. 2 in the Sai Srushti Ressi building near Someshwar Chokdi in Bhestan. It’s a modest little shop that is usually packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of cloth. We spend most of our time pulling down heavy rolls for customers and measuring out lengths of fabric on the counter. The shop is a bit small, so it can feel a bit tight when more than two or three people come in at once. Someshwar Chokdi is a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve got fabrics for almost everything, from simple cottons to more decorative stuff. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we often walk out to the front to show people the true colors in the sunlight. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around to find exactly what someone is looking for. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the shelves and the rolls. Sometimes the dust from all the fabric makes us sneeze, but that’s just part of the trade. We know many of the local tailors who come in to get their supplies. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve been here in Bhestan for a good while now. We just open up, tidy the stacks, and wait for whoever needs some fabric for their next project.
