Jay Ambe Motor Garage

Our garage is located in Katargam Phase V. It's a busy spot and there's always a lot of noise from the traffic and our own tools. We spend our days under cars or leaning over bike engines. It is greasy work and we have plenty of old rags lying around to wipe our hands. We handle everything from basic oil changes to fixing engines that have seen better days. The floor is stained with oil and there's a heavy smell of petrol in the air, but that's just how a garage should be. We don't have a big team, just a couple of guys who know their way around a wrench. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two for a specific part to come in from the supplier. We just let the owners know and they usually understand. We have a small wooden desk where we keep our logbooks and some spare keys. It gets hot in the summer since we keep the big doors open for the cars. People trust us because we don't try to sell them things they don't need. If your brakes are fine, we say they are fine. We take pride in getting people back on the road safely. It's a tough job on the back and knees but we've been doing it a long time. The tea stall next door keeps us going during the busy morning rush.
