Being on Ring Road in Surat means there is never a quiet moment during the day. Aakash Enterprise Surat is located at No. 42 in the Jash Textile Market. If you know Surat, you know how that area gets. Traffic is everywhere and the noise of horns is constant from morning until night. Inside the market, it’s a bit different, just the sound of people talking and fabric moving around. Our space is number 42. It’s not the biggest shop in the building but it works for us. We have some shelves and a couple of stools for sitting. The ceiling fan wobbles a little bit when it’s on the highest setting but it keeps us cool. We spend most of the day handling paperwork or talking to people who drop by the textile market to see what is new. Surat is a fast city, but in here, we just take things as they come. We keep a bottle of water on the desk and maybe some snacks in the drawer for later. The address is easy to find if you know Jash Textile Market, but first-timers sometimes get turned around in the different lanes. We like being here because everything we need is close by. The walls are plain and we have a small calendar hanging up to keep track of the weeks. It's just a regular workplace where we keep busy from morning until the evening rush starts on Ring Road again.
