Alpha Group

Alpha Group is also at No. 1 Jash Market on Ring Road. It’s the same building, but we handle the different sides of the business here. It’s a bit of a squeeze. We share the space with a lot of noise from the street. There are always people shouting or engines idling right outside our door. Inside, we have a few desks that are piled with folders. We try to keep things organized but sometimes a stray piece of paper goes missing for a day or two. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't spend much time sitting down. Usually, we are out talking to the vendors or checking on how things are moving in the market. The Ring Road is always jammed, so we time our errands carefully. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. We know the tea seller on the corner quite well. The business doesn't have many layers. We just do what needs doing to keep things running. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days are so frantic we forget to eat lunch. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything like that. We just rely on each other to get the tasks finished. It’s a local way of working. We deal with people face to face. It’s mostly about being reliable and showing up every morning.
