Jani Auto Advisor is tucked away on Road Number 3 in Tilak Nagar, not too far from the main Ring Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of cars going past, which makes sense for what we do. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a good bit of time. It’s not a showroom or anything shiny. Usually, there’s some grease on the floor and a lot of talk about engines and parts. We spend our days looking at paperwork for vehicles and helping people figure out what they need to do with their cars. It can get pretty cramped in the office when a few people show up at once. The coffee is usually strong and the fan keeps things moving during the hotter months. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Most of the people who come here are from the neighborhood or heard about us from a friend. We know the roads around Tilak Nagar like the back of our hands. It’s a lot of work and the phone rings more than we’d like, but that’s a small business for you. We just try to give honest answers and keep things moving so people can get back on the road. It’s a simple life here on Road No 3, and we don't feel the need to make it more complicated than that.
