We are located at I 20 in the CPM Colony, which is out in Fort Songadh near Surat. Being inside a colony gives the place more of a community feel than if we were in a standard business district. Most of the people living and working around here are connected to the industry in one way or another. We work with paper, which is pretty obvious given the name on the door. It is a very hot part of Gujarat, so we usually have the fans running all day long just to stay comfortable. The office is very basic. We have got some old furniture and plenty of ledgers and notebooks. It is not the kind of place where you would find people using a lot of corporate talk. We just speak like normal people. We handle the local distribution and keep an eye on what is happening on the mill side of things. We have been part of this landscape for quite some time now. You eventually get used to the rhythm of life in the colony. We do not put on any airs or try to impress anyone with fancy presentations. We just make sure the paper gets loaded and the paperwork is signed. It is honest work.
