Being tucked away in New Aashirwad Villa on New Citylight Road is actually quite nice compared to the noisier parts of Surat. Even though the name Ici India Ltd has that PLC UK-based label attached to it, our actual day-to-day life here in Bharthana feels much more like a small local operation. The villa at 193 is where we spend all our hours. It’s a decent spot, and having the office in a villa instead of a cramped commercial tower makes a big difference to how we feel during the day. We aren't doing anything flashy here. Most of the time, we are just managing the local side of things and making sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. The New Citylight Road area has grown so much lately, it’s hard to keep track of all the new buildings. But our little corner stays pretty consistent. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR person. If you come by, you’ll probably see us just working through the daily tasks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and just push through. It’s a simple setup for a big-name company. We focus on the work at hand without worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s honest work, and this part of Surat is a good place to be doing it.
