Hindustan Adhesive Tapes

Hindustan Adhesive Tapes is located over at Plot no 20 in Ushanagar. If you know where khodiyarnagar is, we are basically right opposite that, in the Bhatena area of Udhna. It’s a busy part of town with lots of small workshops and factories everywhere you look. We deal with all kinds of adhesive tapes here. The floor is usually covered in cardboard scraps and those little plastic cores that the tape comes on. It gets pretty loud with the machines running, and there’s always that faint smell of glue in the air. Udhna is a working neighborhood, and we fit right in with the rest of the businesses. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making sure the tape rolls are cut right and packed up for the trucks. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes it a bit sluggish in the warehouse, but we keep going. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a fan that’s seen better days. We get a lot of local workers dropping by from the nearby plots to see what's happening. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend time on fancy decorations or anything. My clothes usually have a bit of dust or tape residue on them by the end of the day. That is just how it goes when you’re working with packing materials and tapes in this part of Surat. We just focus on the orders we have for the week.
