Himalaya Chemicals

Himalaya Chemicals is over here in Pandesara, right in the G.I.D.C Estate. We’re at Shed No. C-1, B-3/4. To be honest, the place is a bit hard to find if you haven't been here before because the plots, specifically 24 and 25, blend in with the others. It gets really hot in the afternoon under the metal roof, but we’re used to it by now. There’s always trucks moving in and out of the estate, so the roads stay pretty dusty. Most of us get here early before the traffic on the main road gets too bad. It’s not a fancy setup or anything. It’s just where the work happens. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit outside or check the inventory again. The tea stall around the corner is where most people end up during the break. It’s been this way for a few years now. We just focus on getting the chemical batches sorted and making sure the labels are right. There’s not much to say about the building itself, it's just a standard industrial shed like all the ones around us in this part of the estate. You mostly hear the sound of the machines or someone shouting over to the next unit. It’s a busy spot but we like the routine of it. We don't have a big front office, just the workspace and some storage areas in the back where things stay cool. We’ve been here since the early days and the neighborhood hasn't changed much.
