You can find Harrud Exports Llp in Surat, right on the busy Ring Road. We are situated in Harikrupa Market 2, specifically at shop number 1012 on the first floor. If you have ever been to Surat’s textile markets, you know how hectic and crowded it can get. There are people carrying bundles of fabric everywhere and the noise of the traffic is constant. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a small shop space that we use more like a command center for our export business. We have racks with some samples and a couple of desks that have seen better days. The walls are covered with calendars and some notes we’ve scribbled for ourselves. Getting through the market in the morning is always a bit of a challenge with the bikes and the handcarts, but it’s just part of the daily routine. We spend a lot of time checking on stock and talking to the transporters who move the goods. The light in the market isn't the best, so we have some bright tubes installed to keep things visible while we work. It is a very practical way of working. We don't have fancy carpets or glass doors; it is just a plain market office where we get our work done. Even though it is noisy outside, once we are inside and the fan is on, we just focus on the orders we need to send out.
