Vasupujya Textiles

Vasupujya Textiles is located in the middle of the Hari Om Market on Ring Road. We are at unit 2077, number 78. If you know the Ring Road area, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving bales of cloth. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with different types of fabrics. There isn't much room to walk once we get a big shipment in. We spend most of our time unrolling materials for customers to look at or wrapping them up for dispatch. The floors are concrete and get a bit dusty from the threads, but we sweep every evening. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is mostly just family and a few helpers who have been with us for years. We know the regular traders who come through the market and they know where to find us. Sometimes we sit on the cushions on the floor while we talk about the orders. It's more comfortable that way. The noise from the market outside never really stops until late at night. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still in paper ledgers. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We just keep piling up the fabric and moving it along.
