Hare Krishna Tiles & Sanitary

You can find us over on Vasta Devdi Road, right near Model Town B 2. It's a big spot full of tiles. Hare Krishna Tiles & Sanitary has been my life for a good bit now. Dealing with heavy ceramic and stone all day is tough on the back. We have stacks of tiles piled up everywhere. Some are plain, some have patterns. It’s a lot of gray and white mostly. The dust from the warehouse gets on everything, even my clothes. My father started this place, and I just sort of took over when he got tired of it. We see a lot of contractors coming in early in the morning. They know what they want and they don't like to wait. We try to keep the inventory straight but sometimes we lose track of a specific batch. It happens. The location near Model Town makes it easy for folks to drop by. We have some sinks and toilets too, but the tiles are the main thing. It's noisy when the forklift is running. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We just work through the day and close up when the sun goes down. It's a local business, nothing corporate. Just us and a lot of heavy boxes. I spend most of my time checking the shipments that come in. It’s hard work but it keeps us going every day.
