H. P. Group

We’ve been at H. P. Group for a while now, up on the second floor of the Tarpan Buildings. If you know Ruwala Tekra, you know it’s a busy area where things are always moving. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done day in and day out. Climbing those stairs every morning really wakes you up, especially when the weather gets warm. There are a few of us here, and we mostly just focus on keeping things running smooth. Sometimes the noise from the street comes up, but you get used to it after a week or so. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look like a magazine. We’re more about the actual tasks on our desks. Ruwala Tekra has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. People stop by, we handle what needs handling, and that’s about it. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about the way we talk or act. We just show up, do what’s required, and head home when the sun goes down. Most of the folks around here know us by now. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the lights on and making sure the files are where they should be. It’s honest work in a part of town that feels like home to us.
