H. K. Sales

Our office for H. K. Sales is at 312 Royal Plaza. We are right across the street from Akhand Anand College on Ved Road. It is a very busy part of the city. The noise from the college students and the constant traffic on Ved Road is something we hear all day long. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy to look out the window. The Royal Plaza is a big building with lots of different businesses. Our space is fairly simple. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of samples scattered around. We don't have a big staff or any corporate polish. It is just a place where we handle our sales and talk to our contacts. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It is good for the heart, I suppose. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out orders by hand. The office isn't decorated much, just a few old photos and some stacks of paper that need to be filed away. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoon. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of moving goods. We know the other people in the building and often chat with them in the hallway. It is a basic, honest way to make a living in a crowded city.
