Gupta Dyeing Printing Mills Private Limited is located at No. 403/3 in the G.I.D.C. area of Pandesara. This is an industrial neighborhood, so it is not exactly a scenic place to work. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is just part of the background. Our mill is a large, open space where we do all the dyeing and printing. It gets quite hot inside, especially during the summer months when the machines are running full tilt. We have a small corner walled off for the office work, but you can still hear everything going on outside that door. There is a lot of dust and the smell of fabric and dyes is always in the air. We have been operating here for a long time and many of the workers have been with us since the start. It is hard work and the floor is usually wet or stained with different colors. We do not have a fancy boardroom for meetings. Most of our talking happens right there on the factory floor or near the gate. It is a grit-and-grind kind of business. We just focus on getting the batches finished and sent out on time. The building is plain and gray, but it serves its purpose. We are just a local mill trying to keep up with the daily orders that come our way.
