Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited has an office at E 95 Shivam Tenements in Vadodara. We are right across from Ambe School, which means it gets pretty lively when the kids are coming or going. We are also near Suncity on the Manjalpur Vadsar Road. It’s a good, solid part of Vadodara to be in. Our place is more of a residential-style building, which makes it feel less like a big scary corporation. We do power industry work, but we do it from a place that feels like home. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the school or the local shops. We’ve been here for years. You won't find any marble floors or fountains here. It’s just E 95, a place where we sit down and get to work. We manage a lot of things from this desk. Being in Manjalpur is convenient for most of the staff. We like the local vibe of the area. Sometimes we go out for tea at the stalls nearby during our breaks. It’s just a normal job in a normal neighborhood. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have our tasks for the day. If you pass by the school, you’ll see our tenement. We’ve been part of this Vadodara community for a long time and we just keep doing what we do. It is practical and straightforward work for us every day of the week.
