Patel Fibres

Patel Fibres is situated in the G.T. Patel Estate. You can find us right opposite the Ajanta Industrial Society on Ak Road. This area is always buzzing with activity because of all the industrial units around here. We have a fair amount of space, but it fills up fast with materials. The floor is concrete and shows the wear and tear of years of moving things around. We start the machines and get to work as soon as the sun is up. Ak Road can get really backed up with traffic, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It's dusty work, but we are used to it by now. There’s a small office in the corner where we keep the records. It’s nothing special, just a place to sit and have a cup of water. We’ve known the neighbors for years. We all help each other out if someone needs a tool or an extra hand. The roof rattles a bit when it rains hard. We just keep working through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the block. We just want to finish the day's tasks and go home to our families. It’s honest work. The piles of fibre get moved, sorted, and sent off. That’s the cycle we follow every single day. The machinery needs a lot of grease and attention, so our hands are rarely clean. It is what it is.
