GRUHAM LAXMI NIDHI LIMITED is a small office located at Shop-5 in the Saurashtra Co-op Housing Society-2. We are right on A K Road in Surat, very close to the Surya Nagar Society. Being in a shop unit means we are right at street level, so people can just pop in while they are out doing their shopping or errands. It’s a busy area, but we like being in the middle of it all. The office isn't very large, but it has everything we need to serve the folks in the 395008 area. We handle things like savings and small-scale financial help for the local community. We don't have any interest in being a big, cold institution. We prefer to know our customers by their names. Our walls aren't covered in fancy posters, and we don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just try to be practical and helpful. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just working through the files and talking to neighbors. It’s a simple, local business. If you’re walking down A K Road, you’ll see our sign. We’ve been here in Surat for a while and plan to stay right where we are. It is just a regular shop where we do our work every single day.
