We have our little spot at A-7 in the Bombay Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how crowded and lively it gets. There’s always someone shouting, the smell of food, and piles of goods everywhere. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time now. Rangoli isn’t a huge operation. It’s just us surrounded by stacks of items. We spend most of our day talking to customers who squeeze through the narrow aisles. It’s a busy life, but it’s never boring. The walls are a bit scuffed and the lighting could be better, but it’s our space. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to look professional. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Dealing with the other shopkeepers in Bombay Market is part of the fun. We help each other out when someone is short-handed. At the end of the day, we pull down the shutter and head home like everyone else. Our shop might be small, but we try to keep it organized so we can actually find what people are asking for. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in inventory, but that’s just the nature of being in a place like this. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people walking by and stopping in. It’s a simple way to do business and it suits us just fine.
