Gift Articles

You can find our shop at C/79 inside the Shyam Shopping Center, which is located near the spinning mill in the Sagar Society area. We are right in the middle of a busy local market in Haladiya where everyone comes to do their daily shopping. Gift Articles is the name on our sign, and we have been here for several years now. The shop itself is quite small, and the aisles can get very tight when we have new stock sitting around in boxes. We have gotten used to the rhythm of the Radha Krishna Market nearby, and we know when it is going to be a busy afternoon. We spend most of our time helping neighbors find a small toy or a gift for a family gathering. It is a quiet and steady kind of work. We handle all the inventory ourselves, which can be a real chore when a big delivery comes in and we have to find space for everything. The shop doesn't have great cooling, so it can get pretty warm in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going. We aren't part of some large chain or corporate group; it is just our own local business. People usually stop by on their way home from the spinning mill or while they are out getting groceries. We keep things simple and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. It is just our little corner of the world here in Haladiya.
