Dayaram Steel Furniture

Dayaram Steel Furniture is located at Plot No. 48. We spend our days working with metal, bending it and welding it into chairs, cupboards, and tables. It’s a noisy business with all the hammering and the sound of the welding machines, but we like the process of building something solid. The workshop isn't a showroom; it’s a place where we actually make things. You’ll see sparks flying and stacks of steel pipes waiting to be used. We have been at this plot for a while, and people in the area know where to find us if they need a sturdy cupboard for their office or home. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show people the furniture we’ve built and let them see for themselves how heavy and strong it is. It’s just a few of us working here, often covered in a bit of soot or paint. We handle the whole process from cutting the steel to the final coat of paint. Sometimes the paint takes a while to dry if the weather is humid, so the shop gets a bit crowded with finished pieces. We don't have a big office or a secretary. Usually, you’ll find one of us with a tape measure in hand or working at the bench. It’s straightforward work. We like knowing that the things we make at Plot 48 are going to last for a very long time in someone’s house or shop. It's just what we do here day in and day out.
