Shyam Textiles

Shyam Textiles is based at Gidc Plot No. 7307/3. We are a small outfit, just a bunch of people working with cloth and yarn. The space we have here at 7307/3 is filled with the smell of new fabric and the sound of the air compressors. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We don’t have any big corporate goals or things like that. We just want to get through the day’s work and see that everything is handled properly. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of producing anything. That’s just the nature of the business. We’ve been in this spot for several years, and we know all the tea stalls and small shops nearby. It’s a tight-knit area. We don’t do any fancy promotions or anything to get attention. Most of our work comes from people we have known for a long time. It can get pretty dusty in the GIDC, especially with all the trucks passing by our plot, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. We just do our own thing and don’t worry too much about what everyone else is doing. It’s a straightforward business, and we plan to keep it that way for as long as we can. We aren't going anywhere anytime soon, that's for sure.
