At Gidc Plot No. 904, you’ll find Shree Krishna Textiles. We are just a small group of people working with cloth and thread. There isn't much to say about us that isn't obvious when you walk into the shed. It's a workshop, plain and simple. We have our looms and our cutting tables, and that’s about all we need. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist to greet you. If you want to talk to us, you just walk back to where all the noise is. We’ve had this plot for a few years and it suits our needs just fine. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got buckets for that and we keep the fabric covered up. We focus on getting the orders out on time. We don't have a mission statement or a set of core values written on the wall. Our only goal is to finish the work we started this morning. It’s a simple life. We take our lunch breaks together under the shade of the big tree out front. Sometimes we talk about the business, but mostly we just talk about the weather or what's happening in the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest textile company in the country. We just want to do right by the people who buy from us. Textiles is a hard business with a lot of competition, but we stay busy enough to keep going. We know our way around a thread and a needle. That's enough for us.
