Semiran Textiles

You can find us at Gidc Plot No. C1B/224. We are in the textile business, which in this industrial area means we are surrounded by other similar shops and factories. Our specific plot is where we do all the processing and handling of the cloth for Semiran Textiles. We have several machines running throughout the day, and it can get quite warm inside, especially during the summer months. We handle different kinds of textiles, depending on what the market is looking for at the time. It is a very practical business. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the raw material and turn it into finished or semi-finished fabric. Our staff is local, and we all just show up and do the work. There’s no big corporate structure here; if there’s a problem with a machine, we usually just fix it ourselves or call a local guy we know. The GIDC layout can be a bit confusing if you’re not used to it, but Plot C1B/224 is right there in the mix. We have our regular customers who have been buying from us for a while, and they know they can just come to the plot and see how the work is going. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive place to be, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and keep the looms moving.
