Rajesh Textiles

Rajesh Textiles is located at Gidc Plot No. 4131. It’s been our home for many years. We started small and have slowly added more equipment as we could afford it. The place is a bit of a maze now with all the different sections for weaving and packing. We have a lot of dust because of the fibers, so we are constantly sweeping, though it never feels completely clean. That is just the nature of the textile business. We have about fifteen people working here on a regular day. They come from the nearby villages and we have a good rapport with them. We don't have a human resources department or anything like that; if there is a problem, people just come and talk to me directly. We handle mostly cotton blends. The summer heat is the worst part of working here, but we have some big fans that help a little bit. We try to keep the quality consistent, which isn't always easy when the power fluctuates or a machine part breaks. We just keep going. It’s a lot of repetition, watching the needles and making sure the tension is right. We don’t have a website or do any social media. People find us by word of mouth or by just driving through the GIDC area and seeing our gate. We are just a small part of the big textile world here.
