Raj Fabrics

Raj Fabrics is based out of Gidc Plot No. 6304. Being in the GIDC, we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and workshops, but we focus on the fabric side of things here at our plot. The space is usually filled with rolls of cloth and different materials waiting to be moved. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting things around. The plot number 6304 is our home for the better part of every day. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical workspace where we handle the fabrics. Sometimes the dust from the cloth gets everywhere, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done. The GIDC streets can get pretty crowded, especially when the shifts change, but inside our gates, we just keep to our own tasks. We’ve been here long enough that the address is familiar to all the local transporters. We don’t spend time on marketing or anything like that. Our work is just about managing the stock and getting it out to where it needs to go. The building is simple, made of brick and metal, like most others around here. We like the consistency of it. Every morning we unlock the doors at 6304 and get to work on the piles of fabric. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with that. No big fuss, just working with cloth.
