Paras Textiles is based out of Gidc Plot No-3717/B. It's a decent-sized plot, enough for what we need to do. We spend most of our daylight hours here. The building isn't new, but it holds up well against the rain and sun. We do a lot of heavy lifting with the fabric rolls, so everyone stays pretty fit. There isn't any air conditioning, just some big fans that move the air around when it gets stuffy. We aren't big on formalities here. If you show up, someone in a grease-stained shirt will probably greet you. We handle all the textile stuff ourselves, from unloading the trucks to packing the finished goods. There's always a lot of noise from the street outside and the equipment inside. We’ve learned to work through it. Our neighbors at GIDC are mostly doing the same kind of stuff, so we all get along okay. If someone needs to borrow a tool, they just ask. We don't have a website or anything like that because we're usually too busy with the actual work. It’s a straightforward business. We make things, we sell them, and we try to do a decent job of it every day. The floors are concrete and the walls are plain, but it’s where we spend our lives. It's a regular job and we try to do it right for the people who buy from us.
