Mayur Silk Mills

Mayur Silk Mills is located at Gidc Plot No. 946 on Road No. 56. Even though the name says silk, we handle a lot of different types of fabric these days. The mill is a busy place, especially in the early mornings when we’re getting all the equipment started up. It’s a lot of coordination between the different stations. We don't have a polished image or a fancy office. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that money on keeping the machines in good working order. Working on Road No. 56 means we get a lot of trucks passing by, so it’s always a bit dusty around the entrance. We don’t mind it much. It’s an industrial area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Our staff has been with us for a long time. We’re like a family, honestly. We argue sometimes about how to do a specific run of fabric, but we always figure it out in the end. We don’t use any marketing tricks or big ads to get customers. Most people hear about us from someone else in the trade. That’s how it’s always been for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If a customer is happy, they usually come back. If not, we try to fix what went wrong for the next time. It’s a straightforward way to live. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’re still here at 946, just doing what we know.
