We’ve been at Gidc Plot No. 742 for a good while now. It’s mostly just us running machines and making sure things get done right for the people who need fabric. Divyesh Textiles isn't a huge operation with fancy offices or anything like that. We just focus on the work. Some days are busier than others, and the machines can be loud, but that’s just how it is here. People know where to find us if they need something specific. We don't really do big ads or have a website. Mostly it’s just folks coming by the plot to check on their orders or see what we’ve got ready. The weather gets really hot in the metal shed during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. Our team is small, just local guys who know the textile trade inside and out. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with more buildings going up around us, but we stay put at 742. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps the community moving along. We handle the threads and the looms every day. Sometimes things break and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor. That’s just the life of a textile worker. We don’t have a big philosophy or any fancy goals. We just show up every morning, do the work, and go home to our families. If you walk past our gate, you’ll hear the clatter of the machines. It’s a steady, familiar sound.
