Bhavna Textiles

Bhavna Textiles is located over at Gidc Plot No. 2203. It is a busy spot and we spend most of our daylight hours here working with fabrics. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Most days start early before the sun is even fully up because the heat in the shed gets to be a lot by midday. We have a few machines running and there is always a bit of noise in the background. My father started this and now I help run things. We handle different types of cloth depending on what people are asking for that month. It is mostly just about keeping the machines oiled and making sure the workers are doing okay. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating but that’s just how it goes in this area. We have stacks of material everywhere. If you walk in, you’ll see piles of grey cloth waiting to be moved. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have on hand. The road outside gets pretty dusty when the trucks go by. It’s a simple life here at 2203. We try to stay organized but with so much fabric moving in and out, it gets messy fast. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the quality decent.
