Amber Textiles

Amber Textiles has been located at Gidc Plot No. 7301/1 for quite a while now. This part of the industrial estate is always humming with activity. Our unit is just a basic setup where we process our textiles day in and day out. There’s nothing really special about the building, just four walls and a roof that keeps the rain off the machines. We spend most of our time looking at the yarn and making sure it isn't knotted up and that the machines are running smooth. It’s a lot of standing and walking around on the hard floor. My knees feel it by the end of the day, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small crew here, and we all know each other’s families by now. It feels more like a small community than a company. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just make textiles. Sometimes we have to deal with broken parts or late deliveries, which can be frustrating, but we just take it as it comes. The plot number 7301/1 is where you can find us if you’re looking. We don’t have a front desk or anyone to greet you, you usually just have to find one of us on the shop floor. It’s just how we run things around here. It’s simple and honest, and that’s enough for us. The tea guy comes by at four, which is the highlight of the day.
