Being over here at Pranami Shopping Center keeps us right in the middle of things. Singanpore Char Rasta is always humming with noise and people going to the college nearby. We are in shops 93 and 94 on the first floor. It is easy to find since we are right opposite Royal Plaza and actually inside the Akhand Anand College area. A lot of students find us because they are already around for their regular classes. We do tutorials and also help people with their spoken English because that is what many folks around here need for work or travel. The rooms are basic but they do the job. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the college lets out, but you get used to it. We have been here on Ved Road for some time now. The first floor is better because it is a bit away from the dust of the street. Usually, we are here early to set up the chairs and wipe down the boards. It is just a regular day-to-day operation. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the lessons happen on time. There is a lot of tea drinking between the sessions. Surat is a busy city and this corner of it is no different. It feels good to see someone finally getting the hang of a new language or finishing their syllabus. That is really the whole point of having this place.
