We’re located in the Indralok Apartment building, which is E-104, right on Dumas Road in Surat. Piplod is a pretty active area, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. The office itself is fairly quiet compared to the street. We’ve got a few computers and a lot of ledger books. In Gujarat, business is everything, and we’re right in the middle of it. We handle a lot of the backend logistics work. It’s mostly keeping track of schedules and making sure the cargo is moving like it should. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group of people who know how to manage transport. The weather in Surat gets incredibly hot, so we’re thankful for the fans in the office. We usually start the morning with a quick talk about what needs to be done and then just get to it. There’s no big hierarchy here. If something needs to be moved or a call needs to be made, whoever is free just does it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just rely on the people we’ve worked with for years to keep things going. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it keeps our lives simple enough. Most days are long, but we’ve gotten into a good rhythm at Indralok.
