Essarsteel Hazira Ltd

We are located at 56-1 in the Swami Atmananda Saraswati Society. This is over in the Ramnagar area on Rander Road in Surat. It’s a residential-feeling spot for a steel company office, but it works well for us. We handle a lot of the administrative side of the Hazira operations from here. The office is basically an old house that was converted. It feels a bit more comfortable than a big steel mill. We have desks set up in the different rooms. Rander Road is always busy with scooters and cars. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot right in front. We’ve been part of this society for a long time. Neighbors know us. We deal with a lot of suppliers and workers who come by to check their schedules or get their paperwork sorted. It isn't a flashy place. We have a lot of files stacked up in the corners. The kitchen in the back is where we make tea for anyone who drops in. We don't have a big marketing department. We just do our jobs and try to keep everything organized for the main site. The trees outside provide a bit of shade during the hot Surat afternoons. It is a simple setup with a few computers and a lot of paper. We like being in this part of town. It’s got a good feel to it. Most of the people working here have been around for quite a few years.
