We are located over in Ahura Nagar Society, specifically at numbers 14 and 15. It is a quiet enough part of Surat compared to the main industrial zones. We deal with steel supplies. Most of the time, the day is spent on the phone or checking the stock levels in the back. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed put. Our building is easy enough to find if you know where the society entrance is. We don't have a big sign or anything like that. Just the address. People usually call ahead before dropping by to pick up their orders. We keep a small crew here. Some of the guys have been with us since the start. It gets busy during the monsoon when transport slows down, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit in Gujarat. We just want to make sure the orders go out correctly. There’s a tea stall right near the corner where we usually end up talking shop in the afternoons. It is regular work. Some days are slower than others. We handle the paperwork and the distribution from this office. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers, but it works for us. If you're coming by, park near the gate. We’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It's just us and the steel. We don't bother with fancy flyers or anything of that sort.
