We operate out of Maya Flat, right behind the Gail Tower. It is a well-known landmark in Surat, so it is easy to explain to people where we are. Being in an apartment building for a steel business might seem a bit different, but it works for how we handle things. We do a lot of the coordination and paperwork from here. Most of the time, we are busy on the phone or talking to suppliers. It is a small team, just a few of us making sure the orders for steel go where they are supposed to. We have been in this spot for a while and have gotten to know the other people in the building. It is not a place with big machines, mostly just the business side of things. We deal with all kinds of steel requirements for different projects across Gujarat. We don't have a big showroom. If you need to talk about an order, you just come up to 304. We try to keep everything organized, though sometimes the stacks of papers get a bit high. It’s a simple way to run things without all the extra overhead of a huge factory. We just focus on getting the steel to the people who need it. Looking out from the window, you can see the tower standing tall. Our office is small, especially when we have a lot of samples lying around. We spend hours every day on the phone. Sometimes we make mistakes with the filing, but we fix them.
