Down in Visakhapatnam, you’ll find our office for Essar Steel Ltd. We are located at Dn-53-20-09 in Chaitanyanagar. It’s in the Maddilapalem area, which is a lively part of Andhra Pradesh. We’ve been here for some time now, handling whatever steel business needs doing. The salt air from the coast sometimes reaches us, reminding us where we are. We don't have a massive polished entrance or a lobby full of statues. We just have a functional space where we handle our files and talk to our contacts. It can get quite humid here, but we’re used to the Vizag weather. Work usually starts early before the heat really sets in. We are just a group of people working under the name Essar Steel Ltd. and trying to do a good job. Maddilapalem is a busy hub, so there is always noise from the traffic and people walking by. We don't mind it much. It makes us feel like we’re part of the city’s heart. We spend our hours checking numbers and talking about steel supplies. It’s not the most exciting work to some, but it’s what we know. We’ve stayed in Chaitanyanagar because it works for us and for the people we deal with. We don't need things to be fancy. We just need them to be practical so we can get through the day's tasks and go home to our families.
